Neri-Jun is Right
By Antonio C. Abaya

For the Standard Today,

As promised, let me analyze the 10th ‘Afraid’ in the document said to have been written
by Jun Lozada in October 2007, to explain why his friend Romulo Neri did not divulge the details of his (Neri’s) conversation with President Arroyo regarding the sordid ZTE broadband contract. (See my article ‘Neri was Afraid….’ [Feb 16, 2008] in which I wrote that it was really a Neri-Jun avatar that was speaking in that document.)
Wrote Jun in that …

Our conclusions are the same. This was a rubout. Jun Lozada got another lease on life. We were informed that Ret. Gen. Atutubo was also the man who killed airport tower standoff Panfilo Villaruel while Valleroso has a blood trail. – The Chair Wrecker

Subject: RECLAIMING OUR HUMANITY – Homily from Mass for Jun Lozada
RECLAIMING OUR HUMANITY
Fr. Manoling Francisco, S.J.
MASS FOR JUN LOZADA
LA SALLE GYMNASIUM, GREENHILLS
17 FEBRUARY 2008
On this Second Sunday of Lent, during which we are asked to reflect on the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ, I wish to touch on three themes that have to do with our moral transformation as a people: first, Ascertaining Credibility; second, Rediscovering our Humanity; and third, Witnessing to the Truth. In so doing, I hope to invite all …

The Lozada crisis: Diversion follows the failed cover-up
AS I WRECK THIS CHAIR By William M. Esposo
Sunday, February 17, 2008
Seven men of the same ilk peddling a big lie cannot overturn the credible story of one simple man.
But seven not-so-wise men tried. They were Secretary Lito Atienza, former Secretary Mike Defensor, Deputy Executive Secretary Manny Gaite, PNP Director-General Avelino Razon, PNP Sr. Supt. Paul Mascarinas, Airport AGM Angel Atutubo and lawyer Antonio Bautista.
They comprise the loyal choral group of the Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (GMA) regime who tried …

‘Neri was afraid…’
By Antonio C. Abaya
Written on Feb 13, 2008
For the Standard Today,
February 14 issue
NOTE: I am not the Tony Abaya who, according to Jun Lozada, brought him to the house of Mrs. Felicitas Aquino-Arroyo (wife of Sen. Joker Arroyo) who allegedly counseled him not to testify at the Senate.
Similarly, I was not the Tony Abaya who, according to a confused “intelligence source” in Malacanang last Sept-Oct. 2007, was coaching Joey de Venecia on how to discredit the ZTE NBN contract.
I have never met Jun Lozada or Joey de …

Lesser Evil No More
There is a story going around about how Secretary Ermita was fuming mad at Mike Defensor. The budgeted hush money for a scandal of this scale was P5.0M. And so, the story goes, the envelop was passed from Ed to Mike. But as the money exchanged hands through the bureaucracy, only P50,000 reached the intended recipient – Jun Lozada.
This would be a rather amusing story were it not reflective of the …

Repeating the tragedy?
(Herman Tiu Laurel / Infowars / 2-15-2008 FRI.)
One of the saddest things I see in the events
following Jun Lozada’s exposé is the manner in which
some of our society’s senior citizens have behaved. I
am prompted to raise this at this time because of the
news item that headlined: “Ramos still for Arroyo.”
We often hear that “Wisdom comes with age,” but proof
that this isn’t necessarily true comes in the form of
three septuagenrians defending GMA – 77 year-old DOJ
Secretary Raul Gonzalez, 73 year-old presidential
legal adviser Sergio Apostol and 79 year-old FVR …

Where are the Filipino Youth?
by: Harvey S. Keh
The past weeks we have witnessed yet another political scandal that has rocked our country, the ZTE Broadband Scam wherein former COMELEC chairman Benjamin Abalos with the apparent blessings of the First Gentleman, Mike Arroyo was said to have asked for a commission of US$ 130 Million or a whopping 6 Billion Pesos in exhange for his influencing our government’s decision to award the broadband deal to ZTE, a Chinese Telecommunications Company. To make this happen, the ZTE Broadband Contract was greatly overpriced …

Au; Here’s my article today.
The True Story
The Rodolfo Noel Lozada Jr. saga is unprecedented.
Nothing in the history of man or beast comes close. It
is the first and only recorded instance of a witness
asking those he is about to testify against to protect
him from those who want him alive and well.
The following is the true version of Mr. Lozada’s
amazing journey:
We took custody of Mr. Lozada when he debarked from a
Cathay Pacific flight from Hong Kong.
“Who are you?” …
