Now, that’s really gutsy! No guts, no Gloria!
During the 24th anniversary of the EDSA …

MANILA, Philippines—In another election non-event forum on Monday, six of the seven presidential candidates present expressed their common concern over a failed election due to mechanical difficulties in the automation of the experimental voting system.
Their anxieties were fueled by uncertainties over the preparations of the Commission on Elections to install the automated apparatus by May 10, election day, and overshadowed their individual differences over political issues and platforms. The six were: Gilbert Teodoro Jr., the administration’s candidate, Senators Benigno Aquino III, Jamby Madrigal and Richard …

Hours after the September 11, 2001 bombing of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the Bush administration was quick to put the entire blame on Al Qaeda, particularly to Osama Bin Laden as the culprit sans investigations. Later, on that same day, the global war on terrorism (GWOT) was officially launched. Since then, countries including the Philippines and  in other parts of the globe followed suit by creating government agencies that will address the war on terrorism and even drafted laws to fight terrorism in all …

“(Perhaps) we were victorious in the campaign against politics at the PMA,” PMA spokesman Captain Agnes Lynnette Flores quipped as the Academy urged Cavaliers and their adopted members before today’s alumni homecoming ‘to shun away from politics for the meantime’.
Although PMA class 76 adopted …

In the years when FVR was president, a prominent businessman whose name I shall not mention because he is old and ailing, was conned by a police character into buying prime real estate right smack along Roxas Boulevard.  He was given a torrens title (TCT) and seizing the opportunity to land a bargain, he paid.
When his lawyers went to the Registry of Deeds, they learned that he bought land that belonged to a foundation.  In short, the title he had was fake.  Policeman could not …
